Our experience with sound insulation
For over a decade we have pioneered the design and development of acoustic enclosures to eliminate noise emissions from heat pumps, air conditioners, air and water cooled chillers, VRF/VRV and industrial equipment.
Our team has laid the foundation for the development, production and distribution of SilentMode and other brands of acoustic enclosures and has now created additional production capacity in the D-A-CH, Benelux region to focus on this market region.
Our focus is not only on sound reduction (noise reduction) but also on the energetic improvement of the system performance and its protection against atmospheric influences (rain, wind, snow, hail, dirt etc.) and protection against access by unauthorised persons.
Our sound insulation solutions offer an innovative solution to a complex problem. Unwanted noise during the operation of HVAC systems often leads to problems in dense construction, whether with the neighbourhood or when complying with official requirements. Our modular sound insulation bonnets and sound insulation solutions can help to optimise noise reduction in both existing and new systems, thereby ensuring increased planning and operational reliability.
Our acoustic enclosures are based on the following acoustic principles, which guarantee optimum sound insulation and ventilation performance:
Sound insulation
Sound absorption
Suppression of sound reflection

Our soundproofing design criteria
Maximum achievable noise reduction without power losses
Minimised pressure losses on all system types depending on the static pressure Optimisation of the air flow rate in the housing due to the air velocity Unhindered access to the systems for service and maintenance work Avoidance of masking effects (sound reduction across the entire frequency band) Smallest possible external dimensions and visual integration into the surroundings Use of recyclable materials |
Interdisciplinary competences |
Our interactive team includes specialists from the fields of refrigeration technology, acoustics, IT (IoT) and metal construction.
We cover the entire value chain from planning to design and production of metal processing, which includes the design and development of prototypes and series products: Punching, edging, perforation, powder coating, "water cutting" of insulation etc... via external partners with industrial production facilities and warehouses. We also develop and produce packaging for the safe despatch of our products. We process: ALUMINIUM, INOX, ALUCOBOND®, DIBOND®. For the production and assembly of the acoustic bonnet parts we use the possibilities of the internet and outsource the parts production to specialised companies with industrial production in Germany, Denmark and Switzerland. We always check the end product before it is delivered to the construction site. This allows us to optimise the distribution of production capacity. We always ensure the product design, the dimensions on the construction site and the assembly of the finished products. |
Distribution |
We deliver from production to all countries, by road freight or combined with sea freight and air freight.
Projects are focussed on the following countries: Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Scandinavian and Benelux countries. Our customers are: Manufacturers of HVAC systems, companies in the photovoltaic sector, manufacturers of pressure, water and compressors, planners, architects, industrial and commercial companies, installers, architects, general building contractors, commercial building owners, property management companies, etc.. |
Some facts and figures |
More than 600 sound insulation projects have been realised by our team in Europe over the last 6 years. |
The average noise reduction achieved, without taking into account the elimination of tonality, is 18.5 dB(A). |
